My mother in law crochets all of the time making anything from hats to baby blankets to baby clothes so I figured this would be a great gift for her. I love that the carrying case zips up which makes it nice to just put inside a bag with yarn or even your purse and you don't have to worry about the hooks and pieces falling out. In the kit there are 30 pieces, 9 of those are the hooks which it's nice to always have extra hooks around. The hooks are well made and have nice grips on them.
